First up, we generally recommend that your Silver Soap ball is kept away from moisture when it’s not being used and not left anywhere too damp, for example in the shower or on the edge of the bath.
Also, when possible try not to seal it up in the box while still damp.
The best method for ensuring longevity, is to leave the bar on top of the box in the dimple after each use to dry, making sure no water has run into the dimple (depending on where you have just used the soap).
If you have used the bar in a damp area, such as the shower, then it is a good idea to move the ball and box to another area after you have finished or place in a bathroom cupboard, especially if others in the household are taking showers or baths after you.
